Abhay Goyal is a dedicated Chartered Accountant with extensive expertise in the financial landscape of India’s power sector. He began his professional career with NTPC Ltd., where he worked for about 2.5 years and handled key finance functions including finalization of accounts, fund management, banking operations, and budgeting.
In 2015, he joined Power Finance Corporation Ltd. (PFC) and has since been closely associated with several Government of India schemes in the power distribution sector, such as R-APDRP, IPDS, and currently RDSS. He played a pivotal role in successful financial closure of the R-APDRP and IPDS schemes.
Currently working as Manager at PFC, he is responsible for fund disbursement, coordination with the Ministry of Power and distribution companies, liaison for CAG and other statutory audits, ensuring compliance with guidelines and norms issued by the Ministry of Power, and budget planning to enable timely and seamless flow of funds from the Ministry to DISCOMs through the Public Financial Management System (PFMS).
With a proven track record of managing complex financial frameworks, he continues to drive efficiency and transparency within the power distribution sector.
