Holding university Gold Medalist in Mechanical Engineering from CET Bhubaneswar, he has been driving force in NTPC’s transition from subcritical to ultra-supercritical and advanced ultra-supercritical technologies, driving indigenization and efficiency gains up to 46%. With his environmental sensibility, he pioneered the use of Air-Cooled Condensers (ACC) in large thermal power plants and developed India’s first supercritical unit with ACC, cutting water use and setting new ecological benchmarks.
