He has Bachelor degree in Technology (B.Tech Electrical Engg.) from NIT, Kurukshetra (Formerly REC Kurukshetra) and has done PGDIM from IGNOU.
He has over 29+ years rich & varied experience in the field of Hydro Power Development covering areas of Design & Engineering, Erection, Testing & Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance of Electro-Mechanical systems of Hydro Power Project.
He has significantly contributed in Erection, Testing & Commissioning & Operation & Maintenance of a Mega Hydro Electric Project, Parbati Stage-III (520MW) in H.P. Also, served at Bairasuil Power Station(180 MW), Sewa-II Power Station(120MW), Uri Power Station(480MW).
He has also held responsibility as ‘Head of the Plant’ at Kishanganga Power Station (330MW), J&K for smooth functioning of the Power Plant and also got commissioned a small hydro plant (2.4 MW) at Dam of Kishanganga Plant in Gurez, valley, J&K.
