Julia is CEO of the Long Duration Energy Storage Council, the global voice for technology that ensures power and heat are available exactly where and when they’re needed, 7/24. From local communities to the global stage, she leads a coalition of 60+ organizations across 20 countries, uniting industry, policy, and innovation to accelerate the clean energy transition worldwide.

A strategic and visionary leader with more than 25 years in the energy and environmental sectors, Julia is also Co-Chair of the Global Renewables Alliance, a U.S. C3E Ambassador, a member of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Electricity Advisory Committee, and a board member of the Keystone Policy Center. She is known for solving the “impossible” in ways that are equitable, just, and inclusive—bringing systems thinking, market design expertise, and policy innovation to complex global challenges.

Her career spans senior roles in nonprofits, government, and the private sector—including the Natural Resources Defense Council, North American Electric Reliability Coordinator, Clean Line Energy Partners, the U.S. Department of Energy, as well as a founder and entrepreneur leading clean energy companies—giving her a rare vantage point on how to
unite policy, markets, and technology at scale to deliver resilient, low-carbon energy systems.
