A strategic and visionary leader with more than 25 years in the energy and environmental sectors, Julia is also Co-Chair of the Global Renewables Alliance, a U.S. C3E Ambassador, a member of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Electricity Advisory Committee, and a board member of the Keystone Policy Center. She is known for solving the “impossible” in ways that are equitable, just, and inclusive—bringing systems thinking, market design expertise, and policy innovation to complex global challenges.
Her career spans senior roles in nonprofits, government, and the private sector—including the Natural Resources Defense Council, North American Electric Reliability Coordinator, Clean Line Energy Partners, the U.S. Department of Energy, as well as a founder and entrepreneur leading clean energy companies—giving her a rare vantage point on how to
