Avaada is now India’s fastest-growing renewable IPP, with an ambitious target of achieving 30 GWp renewable capacity by 2030.

A distinguished NIT engineer and Harvard Business School alumnus, Vineet Mittal has earned global recognition for his groundbreaking contributions to green energy and digital transformation. In 2022, Avaada achieved a historic milestone—building the world’s largest solar project of 1.25 GWp capacity at a single location by an IPP in Rajasthan.

Beyond business, Mr. Mittal is a recognized thought leader in global climate action. As a World Economic Forum member, he has played a key role in shaping sustainable policies worldwide. He previously served as Co-Chair of the B20 Task Force on Energy, Climate Change, and Resource Efficiency, and currently chairs the CII Sub-Committee on Hydrogen Usage and Standards, championing India’s leadership in the clean hydrogen economy.
