Rashika Gupta is the Vice President of Research for Wood Mackenzie’s Power & Renewables team. With over 19 years of experience in energy markets, she brings deep expertise in economic and policy assessment, power and fuel market analysis, power trading, energy management, and environmental policy analysis across India and the Asia-Pacific region.
Rashika currently leads Wood Mackenzie’s Global Power Markets Analytics and South Asia Research team. Her leadership is focused on delivering price and revenue forecasts and driving insights to solve clients’ critical problems in increasingly diversified, complex, and evolving power markets.
Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Rashika held senior roles at S&P Global Commodity Insights, Statkraft Markets, and ICF International, where she worked on a wide range of consulting and commercial projects. She has partnered with independent power producers, investors, private equity funds, power utilities, energy majors, industrial consumers, and government bodies to shape their business strategies and guide key commercial decisions.
Rashika holds a bachelor’s degree from Kirori Mal College, a master’s degree from Hansraj College, and a Ph.D. from Delhi University, all in India.
