Gaurav is a Partner at Kearney and a core member of the Energy and Process Industries Practice, with nearly 15 years of experience spanning management consulting and industry roles. He is a recognized expert in the power and utilities sector, with a deep focus on renewable energy and energy transition.

Gaurav has led and advised clients across the renewable energy value chain, helping utilities, IPPs, and industrial players build and scale renewable businesses, accelerate power sales, execute M&A transactions, and improve O&M performance. His work has supported clients in using renewables as a strategic lever to drive growth, resilience, and decarbonization.

He has worked extensively with private equity investors on RE-focused buy-side and vendor due diligences, supporting large-scale transactions and post-deal value creation. His experience spans solar cell and module manufacturing, wind turbine platforms, power marketing for IPPs, and renewable energy sourcing strategies for industrial and commercial clients.

Gaurav is an engineer with B. Tech from Thapar University and an MBA from IIM Bangalore.
