Niraj Kumar Singh is a graduate in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Project Management. He is working as General Manager (E) in Design E&M division of NHPC Limited, Faridabad. He has more than 25 years of experience in Hydro sector specialized in Commissioning of E&M equipment of Hydro power Projects its O&M issues and fault diagnostic & rectification strategies. He is associated with Design & Engineering of Electro-Mechanical works of Hydro power Projects covering different aspects of hydro power development and its O&M. He has been associated in preparation of Power Transformer Standardization Manual at CEA, Regulation on technical Standards at CEA, Regulation on electrical safety at CEA, R&M Manual at CBIP and GOO working on study supply chain mechanism in connection with cyber-attack in power sector. He has not only published numerous technical papers in various national and international conferences but also represented NHPC at international forums like CIGRE ,Paris. He is also a member of CIGRE NC B5 on protection and automation.
