Graduated in BE Electronics from Nagpur University in 1992 , Sh Rajiv Pharlia worked in variety of domains in power sector ie generation , transmission & distribution and have 33 years of rich experience.
He worked with companies like Celegec , Alstom executed critical infrastructure projects like DDCMIS & power plant simulator , C&I in Kawas CCGPP , SCADA in 1000MW Koyna stage IV Hydro Elecric Project and various small hydro projects.
In 2000, he joined PGCIL and had been instrumental in implementation of SCADA /EMS in ULDC scheme and later on SCADA /DMS and IT related projects under APDRP, R-APDRP projects across India.
Now, currently functioning as Chief General Manager in PFC, a nodal agency for earlier R-ADPRP, IPDS & NOW for RDSS scheme.
He has been a prime-mover in implementation of SCADA, DMS,OMS , RT-DAS projects for enhancement of power reliability in distribution sector and other projects under these scheme and now playing a key role for implementation of SCADA/IT infra in Discoms under RDSS. Spearheading the National SCADA Resource Centre project of PFC/MoP, a unique and first of its own Centre of Excellence to meet skilled manpower requirement in India for Distribution Automation & Make in India.
