Over my 27 years of service in NHPC, I have vast experience in Hydro sector and has worked at several NHPC projects/ Power stations like 540 MW Chamera-I Power Station, 390MW Dulhasti Power Station, 280MW Dhauliganga Power Station, 2000MW Subansiri Lower Project, and Ratle Project. I have also worked in Design (E&M) and O&M Divisions of NHPC and has gained extensive exposure in Hydro Project execution, O&M, Design of E&M and HM equipment, Contract management, Renovation and Modernisation and Life extension of Power plants and Dedicated Transmission Lines as below:

Project Management:

• Execution of E&M and HM works of Ratle Project and its coordination with various agencies and sub-contractors.
• Planning, Design & Engineering of Ratle Project – coordination with NHPC Design Divisions, AFRY, MEIL, PES, and BHEL for various Drawing and Technical document approvals
• Headed the Maintenance function of Dulhasti Power House for three years post-commissioning, achieving PAF > 92%.
• Transportation of ODC consignments and E&M material for Subansiri Lower Project lying at various enrote temporary stores during Covid Period of 2020

Contract & Design Engineering:

• Prepared technical specifications, bid replies, tender evaluation, and post-award engineering for E&M packages of new projects.
• Led design engineering for 20 packages in Renovation Modernisation & Uprating works of Bairasuil Power Station.

Commissioning & R&M:

• Successfully coordinated erection, commissioning of 1st Unit and common systems for R&M works of
• Bairasuil Power Station.
• Overall testing and Commissioning of Dulhasti Power Station (390 MW).
• Replacement of 400KV XLPE cable erection.

Transmission & Power Purchase:

• Preparation of 400KV dedicated Transmission Line DPR of Ratle HE project and its CEA approval.
• Secured connectivity of Ratle HEP and DPR approval for Ratle’s 400kV dedicated transmission line.
• Executed Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) with 10 DISCOMs for Ratle HEP.

O&M:

• Assistance in resolving the critical maintenance issues of NHPC Power stations.
• Introduction of new technological innovations in NHPC power stations.
